Ava Gallo

Ava Gallo is the Climate & Energy Manager at the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators (NCEL), where she leads the organization’s climate and energy portfolio across all 50 states. She oversees long-term strategy and day-to-day operations, ensuring state legislators receive timely, high-impact policy support on issues including transportation decarbonization, affordable clean energy deployment, grid modernization, and sustainable climate finance.

In her role, Ava plans and oversees multi-stakeholder policy conferences nationwide, helping catalyze new state climate policy and strengthen collaboration among legislators, advocates, and policy experts. She also develops NCEL’s state-to-federal climate program, identifying opportunities for state lawmakers to shape federal and regional strategy and secure federal funding aligned with state priorities. 

She is passionate about maximizing the impact of state policymakers in the national climate landscape through hands-on experiences and accessible policy education.
